I started coming to AFC’s Group Training because I wanted to start focusing on strength training the right way. Friends and co-workers have talked about how much they enjoyed this class and I wanted to try it.
I can tell that I have more strength-endurance than I had before. When I started weight training myself with workout DVDs such as beachbody, I started with 5lbs on each arms. Now with this class I can at least do 10lbs and/or higher. Also, I can complete exercises the full time that I couldn’t do at the beginning, would have to stop and take a short break.
Going to these classes with other people helps make you more accountable for working out.
I do look forward going to classes. I get mad at myself when I have to miss. I look forward knowing I will get a great hour of a work out in. The class has also been a great stress reliever for me after a long day of work.
After classes, I feel great about myself knowing I put the time in to better myself. I feel better mentally when I complete a class and completing stations/exercises that I didn’t think I could. The trainer is knowledgeable , helpful, encouraging, motivating, leader, funny 🙂
